1. The amount of the award is contingent upon the number of credit hours for which you are enrolled.

2. Outside aid received, which is not listed in the award letter should be reported to the Financial Aid Office. The aid package may have to be adjusted to reflect the aid reported, but an attempt will be made to reduce loans instead of reducing scholarship and grants.

3. Under provisions of the United States Criminal Code, intentional false statements or misrepresentations on any of the application materials may subject you to a fine of not more than $10,000 or imprisonment of not more than five years, or both.

4. No person shall, on the basis of race, color, handicap, national origin, or sex be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance or under any program or activity operated by Grace Bible College.

5. You cannot receive financial aid from more than one school at the same time.

6. You must participate in all 6 weeks of your 1st course and 2nd week of the 2nd course before financial aid arrives at the school. Funds arrive at the school in the 3rd week of the 2nd course. Please allow up to 14 business days for the excess funds to be mailed.

7. If you drop a course, your financial aid amounts and disbursements can be affected and adjusted. To avoid the return of federal funds to the Dept. of Ed, you must participate in the last scheduled course in your semester.

8. Borrowing only what you need for tuition will often ensure you have enough funds for dropped and failed courses.

9. You must agree to use the funds listed on your award letter solely for educational expenses related to your studies at GBC.

Refund Policy—Students who withdraw from the College or from a particular course in which they are enrolled may be eligible to receive a refund. Students must notify the Graduate Studies Office of their intention to withdraw and process an official withdrawal form. Refunds will be based on the date of actual notification rather than course participation or attendance. >

If courses are dropped, the following schedule of tuition refunds applies:

  • During the first week of the course - 100% refund on basis of registered hours;
  • During the second week of the course - 75% refund;
  • During the third week of the course - 50% refund;
  • After the third week of the course - no refund;
  • If for disciplinary reasons - no refund;

1. You must submit official transcripts by the end of the 1st course for credits to officially transfer.

2. The credits must be earned from a regionally accredited college or university. Some exceptions may apply and will be determined on a case by case basis.

3. Transfer credit can be granted for 500 level undergraduate courses equivalent to the courses offered in the MA Ministry, in which a grade of "B" (3.0) or higher was earned.

4. You must complete at least 24 credits with GBC to earn your degree.

Grace Bible College believes that regular attendance and participation in classes are essential for learning. Furthermore, consistent attendance is critical to the online learning environment.

Students are expected to monitor their class attendance and abide by the following guidelines:

  • Students will log in to the course and participate a minimum of four days per week.
  • Participation is defined as a posting a substantive (100 words) post to class discussion boards.
  • Students will receive one absence for each day they do not participate in class discussion.
  • A maximum of 8 absences will be allowed per course. Once a student receives 9 absences he/she will automatically be withdrawn from the class with a WF.
  • Exceptions to this policy may be granted in the case of extenuating circumstances and with prior notice given to course facilitator.

1. Plagiarism shall be determined by the course faculty member, and as defined by GBC policy.

2. The student will receive a failing grade on the assignment.

3. The Associate Dean of Graduate Studies will be notified of each infraction and will reach out to the student via a phone conference. The goal of this conference is to clarify the plagiarism policy and define the expectations of the Program.

4. Additional instances of plagiarism may subject the student to additional penalties, including academic dismissal from class and possibly from the program.

5. This process may be appealed by the student to the Academic Affairs Committee, whose ruling is final.

1. GBC makes every effort to maintain dynamic cohorts of 10-15 students. However, if a cohort becomes small in size (less than 5), it may be disbanded and placed into another cohort. Your academic advisor will notify you as soon as possible with your new cohort and updated Ed Plan.

2. If you desire someone to have access to your academic information (grades, progress report, etc.), please contact your Academic Advisor for a FERPA release.

3. The average student invests 20-25 hours of work every week in reading, writing, class discussion, etc.

Referral Incentive Program

The Graduate program is passionate spreading the word of what Grace Bible College has to offer. We offer an awesome referral program: if you refer someone who enrolls and they pass their first class with a grade of a C- or better, both you and the person you refer will receive a $100 Amazon gift card! If you have a friend, family member, or coworker who would benefit from this type of program, we want to serve them too. We have found that when people start with a friend or family member they are more likely to succeed.

Make sure to submit your application at the end to ensure that it is received by the Graduate admissions department.
