  • Trey Bloodgood Signs For Tigers


    The Tigers have added Trey Bloodgood from Memphis, Tennessee to the 2014 squad.  The midfield and forward player is the son of Rebecca Candebat and Gregory Candebat and is the oldest sibling of three.  Trey attended Cordova High School and was a Deans List Student.  He has played for several clubs in Tennessee including Germantown United, Unida, Stratford United, Express SC,Warriors SC,Warriors FC,and part of Panathinaikos Academy.  During his last season he recorded 7 goals and 12 assist during his 12 game season.  For two years he was named as captain of his side.  He also has his U.S.S.F Grade 8 Refereeing license.  "We are very happy to have Trey.  His desire and dedication is incredible.  He is a person who understands what hard work can do. Trey is an experience player and mature.  Once you get to know Trey it is easy to want success for him and get behind him.  He is passionate about life, soccer and always looks to make the best out of all situations.  He has a bright future and I am happy we are a part of it", commented Coach Buchanan.  On signing, Trey stated  "I'm very excited to attend GBC.I feel I'll have a very productive and happy 4 years here and I think that the family atmosphere here will help smooth the transition from Memphis,Tennessee to here.  I owe it all to Donna and Tom McCraw and Coach Buchanan,without whom I wouldn't be able to pursue my dream of playing College Soccer and getting a degree in a field that allows me to serve the Lord."
