Tigers name new Assistant Coach, Kerrie Rudd
Kerrie Rudd has been recently named Assistant Coach by new Women’s Soccer Head Coach Scott Teesdale. Kerrie came to Grace Bible College in 2009 after growing up in Battle Creek, Michigan. She will graduate in April of 2014 from Grace and Davenport with a degree in Business Management.
Throughout her career at Grace as an athlete, she participated in 4 years of basketball (2009-2012) and soccer (2010-2013). In the soccer realm, she has arguably been the most accomplished player ever to put on a Tiger uniform. She was a member of the program’s start-up team in 2010, and played keeper for the team in her first 3 seasons. This past season she played out on the field for the Tigers and was named the Midwest Region Most Valuable Player. This was Kerrie’s fourth time being named to the All-Region team, to go along with being named team captain for 3 out of her 4 seasons.
Kerrie is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Battle Creek, but currently attends Frontline Bible Church here in Grand Rapids.
“I am really excited to continue this journey with the program. The program has grown a great deal in the past four years and I am looking forward to seeing that continue. I also look forward to the opportunity to help these young women grow closer to the Lord and for them to help me grow as well.”

"I had the opportunity to coach Kerrie in her Senior Year at Grace and was impressed with her knowledge of the game and leadership on and off the field. Her hard work and dedication to the team was exemplary and I am confident that she will excel in coaching, just as she did in playing. Kerrie knows the demands of being a student athlete and will help our ladies in their Spiritual, Academic, and Athletic lives"
