  • Grace Signs Maurice Morrison II

    Grace have added forward Maurice A.S. Morrison II. Maurice is the son of Maurice and Vaniece Morrison and brother to Latasa Daley. The 6'0” forward from Spanish Town, Jamaica went to Ottawa Hills High School and played high school soccer for Grand River Prep. He was a four year varsity starter and a captain for two years. During his senior year, Maurice scored 12 goals and contributed 8 assist, which he was named to the All-District Team. Maurice also played club soccer for Ole Soccer Club, Alliance Football Club, Crew Juniors Soccer Club, and Michigan PDA Soccer Club. Maurice also excelled in the classroom by being on the Honor Roll all four years of high school. Maurice enjoys volunteering, as well as studying theology and history. “Maurice has a true passion for soccer. I have had many quality conversations with him and he is a delight to be around. His knowledge is impressive but not surprising because he is an incredibly intelligent young man. I am excited for Maurice to be out there working hard and being a part of this team”, commented Coach Buchanan. On signing, Maurice stated “I am extremely excited about attending Grace Bible College in the fall, not only to pursue my target career in Theology, but also to pursue my life long dream of playing college soccer. My spirituality has kept me steadfast and grounded in keeping on schedule with my life goals. God alone is responsible for the growth I have shown in pursuing more success and opportunities in this life”.
