  • Grace Girls Compete at Nationals

This year for the first year, runners had to qualify for the NCCAA Division II national meet.  Josie Lange and Dicia Wahl both qualified to compete.  The race was at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio.  There were 40 womens teams and 262 women registered for the Division I and II races.  Josie had her personal best 5k with a time of 20:59.  She was 9th in the women’s division II race!  Dicia was 41st with a time of 27:12.  The race course is a beautiful rolling course and the weather was cool and crisp.  Perfect day for a great race.  The start was rough, as the starter accidentally shot his gun and then called the runners back to restart.  On the second start, Josie was trip, went down and had her hand spiked as she was pushing herself back up to run the race.  Despite the rough start, both girls ran hard and finished a great first season at Grace Bible College.
