  • Grace Downs Multnomah, Falls to West Coast Baptist College (Road Trip Update)

The Tigers were able to take down the high-powered offense of Multnomah University Friday night by a score of 96-85.  Grace out-shot the opponent from the three-point line, hitting 14 of 33 (42%) compared to 10 of 46 (21%) for Multnomah.  Committing only 12 turnovers on the night was a key contributor in the win as well, as Multnomah plays a fast-paced game on both ends of the floor, pressing on defense non-stop.  Six Tigers hit double figures on the game, led by senior Nick Mascarro with 21 points.  Travis Rader, Jake Blauwkamp, and Jared Bradford followed up with 18, 16, and 13 respectively.  Cameron Cramer and Paul TenHarmsel both finished with 11.  Bradford led the Tigers with 7 assists, with Rader adding 5.  TenHarmsel ended the game with his first career double-double, adding 10 rebounds on the night.

    Box Score vs. Multnomah

West Coast Baptist College's shooting proved to be too much for Grace, as a second half run for the Eagles resulted in a 97-82 loss for the Tigers.  After leading by 5 at the half, the road trip seemed to take its toll on the Tigers in the second half, where they were outscored by 20 points.  Grace out-rebounded the Eagles, 51-38, but shot 38% compared to 46% shooting from West Coast Baptist on the day.  Freshman Jared Bradford led the team with 20 points on 5-8 shooting from beyond the arc.  Senior Nick Mascarro was the only other Tiger in double figures, with 15 points to go along with 7 rebounds.  Junior Brad Rosenzweig led the team in boards with 9 total, 4 coming at the offensive end.  Junior Cameron Cramer added 4 assists for Grace.
