  • Chris Thompson and Kerri Rudd Receive VanderLaan Award

The Frank VanderLaan Award is given each year to the Grace Bible College athlete that best reflects Christian character, hard work in the classroom, leadership on and off the field/court, and exceptional performance in their respective sport(s).  This is Thompson's second prestigious honor this year, as he was awarded with the NCCAA's Kyle Rote Award, which is the top honor given out by the NCCAA with the same qualifications.  Thompson has certainly left his mark on the Grace Bible College soccer program, as well as the school in whole.

Kerri Rudd was named the NCCAA II Midwest Regional Player of the Year this past fall, and she played a huge part in the most successful season in the history of Grace women's soccer.  Rudd will continue to be involved with the program, as she will be serving Grace as the assistant women's soccer coach next fall.
