  • 2014 Alumni Game, Navy Taste Victory Over White

This years Grace Bible College Men's Soccer Alumni game saw the alumni go head to head.  The Navy Team opened the scoring with a "classic" Alex Stoddard goal, which happened to be a scissor kick beating Team White's keeper Carl Getty.  Team White would quickly level, when current assistant coach, Grace's second leading all time scorer, and former All-American Nathan Grube cleverly beat the Navy defender and finished with class.  Once again Stoddard would send a spectacular strike into the net, but would only hold the lead for a short time when Ryan Snyder equalized.  The teams would go into half time leveled 2-2.  The second half was a different story.  Andrew Clark would send in a fantastic ball to current head coach, Dustin Buchanan who headed it in, which was a sign of things to come.  Buchanan was able to find the net 4 more times and totaling 5 goals in the contest, with goals also coming from Andrew Clark, Jon Barton, Miguel Moran, and Jordan Finn.   The Navy Team would win the contest 11-4.
