Carrie came to Grace from Sparta High School and was one of Coach John Robinson’s first recruits.  A fierce competitor, Carrie was desperately needed and joined a team that did not win a game the previos year.  She immediately established her offensive capabilities in leading  the NCCAA II in scoring her freshman year at 33 points per game.

She was chosen as an NCCAA II All Region player four straight years and also excelled in the classroom and was an Academic All-American two years.  Carrie was the first women at GBC to reach the 1,000 point mark making her the first member of the 1,000 point club.  Her 1,443 points ranks her 7th all time.

Leading the team in scoring her senior year, Carrie set the school records for three pointers made, attempted, and most three pointers made in a game (8).  Her 97-98 team holds the GBC record for higest 3-point FG percentage at 38.3%.  Her 96-97 team has the second highest percentage at 36.8%.  Her personal mark of 39.8% is still the record today.

Carrie is married to Kizombo Kalumbula.  Along with Kizombo, Carrie started the Tabernacle Community Church, serving with the International Berean Ministries.  Carrie also spends time homeschooling the couples five children.
