Dustin Buchanan
Head Coach

Head Coach Dustin Buchanan is entering into his 5th season as the Head Coach of the Men’s Soccer Team. Coach Buchanan was named 2010 Mid-West Coach of the Year after leading his team to a 12-8-1 (PK Loss) record. He helped the Tigers to a third place finish in the 2010 ACCA Tournament where his team would only allow one goal in three matches. During his first year at the helm, Coach Buchanan led the Tigers to a 9-9 overall record and to the NCCAA II Midwest Regional semi-finals. He had an NCCAA II record of 6-5. During the 2008 season, the Tigers also notched victories over NCCAA II Finlandia University and USCAA members Andrews University and Taylor University/Fort Wayne. During his second season, a rebuilding year Coach Buchanan led the team to the Regional Semi-Finals before falling to Moody Bible Institute. Coach Buchanan has had the privilege of coaching six All-Region players, two ACCA All-Americans, two ACCA All-American Honorable Mention players and an NCCAA II All-American over the past three seasons.

Nathan Grube
Assistant Coach

Coach Grube has an extensive soccer background both as a player and coach. Nathan graduated from Hudsonville High School in Hudsonville, MI in 2001. While there he earned All-District, All-Regional and All-State Honors. His college experience started here at GBC while he earned his Associate of Arts. During his two years playing he was twice Offensive MVP, was All-GBC Classic Team in 2001 and again with Coach Buchanan on the All -GBC Classic Team in 2002, All-Regional both years, All-American 2nd Team as a Freshman in 2001, All-American 1st Team as a Sophomore. He also holds GBC’s all time season scoring record with 30 goals. he then attended NAIA Cornerstone University where he was 2004 & 2005 Offensive MVP, 2004 All-Conference 2nd Team, 2005 All-Conference 1st Team, All-Regional 1st Team, and All-American Honorable Mention. He graduated from Cornerstone University with his B.S. in Exercise Science in 2009. he has also spent time with the United Soccer League professional side Charlotte Eagles Team. After playing, he has spent time coaching four years as Varsity Assistant Coach at Cornerstone and two years as JV coach. He spent four years coaching the Byron Center High School Girls Team as well as 3 years as Tri-Unity High School Girls Assistant Coach under Grace Bible College Alum Mike Cronkright where they had two district titles.

Josh Armstrong
Assistant Coach

Josh was a four year player for Grace, and recently graduated with a degree in business (2014).  Josh was a starter and impact player in each of the years he played.  As a midfielder, he had a calming presence with which was vital for the Tigers in controlling the midfield.  He also captained for Grace.  He notched 23 goals and added 24 assists during his career, which earned him Mid-West All-Region honors.  Josh is a three time MVP for Grace.  Before Grace, Josh went to high school at Muskegon Oak Ridge where he was named to multiple All-Conference, All-Area, and All-District Teams.  He played his club soccer for the Michigan Fire and Vardar West.  

John Ladwig
Assistant Coach

Coach John will begin his first year of coaching at Grace Bible College in the fall of 2015.  John has a strong background in goalkeeping.  He was the goalkeeper for the University of Aleppo for four years where he graduated with a BA degree in English in 2001. After graduation, he served as an assistant to the team with a focus on goalkeeping and coordinating from 2002 to 2004. He has an MA in English from Indiana University and is currently getting his Michigan teacher certification.  John was the assistant coach for Kuyper College for the 2014 season. Currently he is in the process of obtaining his coaching certificate through the United States Sport Academy and West Michigan University.  

Brad Rosenzweig
Strength and Conditioning Coach

Brad Rosenzweig is a graduate of Grace Bible College and Cornerstone University, where he earned two bachelor’s degrees – one in Biblical Studies and one in Exercise Science.  Brad spent four seasons on the Grace Tigers basketball team, earning Honorable Mention All-Region honors and a spot on the GR Champions of Character All-Star Team his senior year.

Brad is a student member of ACSM and NSCA, and he holds a CPR certification through the American Heart Association.  He is currently studying for Performance Enhancement Specialist Certification through NASM.  Brad is a former intern with Barwis Methods Strength and Conditioning, and is now co-owner of Titan Training Systems LLC.  He has experience training many different levels, all the way up to professionals, as he assisted in training the Grand Rapids Griffins hockey team in the summer of 2014.

He will be the head strength and conditioning coach for all 7 athletic programs here at Grace.
