Womens Basketball

The Tigers trailed by 7 at half but quickly took the lead 35-34. The rest of the game was fairly tight but a poor shooting percentage for the Tigers, 32% , caused the tigers to lose their 2nd game of the young season 62-52.

Jessica Sirkorski lead the team in scoring with 22 followed by Stephanie Miller with 11. Stephanie was 3 for 7 from the 3 point line. Jessica also lead the Tigers in rebounding with 12. Naomi walker had 6 rebound and Amanda Wall had 5.

The Tigers defeated Northland Baptist 58 to 50. Leading all scorers was Jessica Sikorski with 17 followed by Heidi Salmon with 15 and Angela Byrne with 13. The leading rebounder was Sikorski with 9 followed by Whitney Duflo with 5 and Heidi Salmon with 4. The first half ended 24 to 20 with the Tigers leading. The second half saw the tigers build a 12 point lead early and held on for the victory.

Women lose to a tough U of M Dearborn team 105 to 46. The young tigers learned a tough lesson from an experienced team. Jessica sikorski lead the tigers in scoring with 13, followed by Whitney Duflo with 12 and Heidi Salmon 10. Sikorski was also the leading rebounder with 5.
