    Tigers Win Third In A Row

    The Ladies Tigers ended the trip to Iowa with their second win of the weekend. They defeated Ozark Christian College 73 to 65 in an exciting game. The Tigers took a 37 - 25 lead into half time and came out of the locker room after half time on fire. Megan Scholtens hit 3 three point baskets and the ladies built a 23 point early in the second half. The Tigers mid way through the half were getting into foul trouble and the team from Ozark Christian took advantage of it. With the ladies leading scorer, Megan Scholtens, and there leading rebounder, Emily Koerner, sitting on the bench with 5 fouls Ozark came roaring back. Good free throw shooting by Abby Schultz, Anna Iwaniw, Hannah Wight and Brittany Summerfield down the stretch, the Tigers held on for the Victory. Full Article >

    Hannah Wight Leads Tigers to 4th Win of the Young Season

    Hannah had her best game of the season in a 57 to 33 win over Faith Baptist College, said Coach Renzema. It was a good thing she did as the Tigers as a team shot a dismal 27% and got out rebounded 23 - 16 in the first half. The second half saw a very different team. The ladies shot 47% and out rebounded Faith 23 to 11 to give the Tigers the win. Full Article >

    Lady Tigers Win Final Game in Tennessee

    Lady tigers regrouped from last night’s low shooting percentage and came out shooting 43% for the game. The Tigers pulled out a close game and came away with a win 81-76 over Taccoa Falls. Early in the game Molly Holtrop when down a knee injury and did not come back into the game. The lady tigers stepped it up to overcome the temporary loss of a teammate and played the rest of the game with 6 players. Full Article >

    Cold Shooting Downfall For Lady Tigers

    The Tigers shot only 24% from the floor to lose to Pensacola Christian 65 - 57. The Tigers trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half. With 2:30 left in the half Abby Schultz stole a pass an scored to cut the lead to 7 points. Abby also hit a jumper with 1:24 left to cut the lead to 5 at the half. The Tigers fell farther behind in the second half trailing 41 27 with 10 minutes remaining. The ladies were able to cut the lead to 5 with 1:38 left but could get any closer. Full Article >

    Tigers Defeat #6 Ranked Johnson University

    The Lady Tigers jumped to a 41 - 26 first half lead thanks to some fine outside shooting. Megan Scholtens 5 for 5 with 4 threes, Abby Schultz 4 for 6 with 1 three pointer, Kitty Yanik was 3 for 7 with one three pointer and Molly Holtrop had 7 points and 7 assists in the first half. But as hot as we were in the first half, Johnson matched it to start the second half. With 10:45 left in the game Johnson tied the score at 52. There were 7 lead changes in the second half, Johnson built up a 6 point lead only to have the Tigers roar back to tie it again.     Tigers Lose Tight Game With Silver Lake

    The Tigers were cold from the floor in the first half of their game with Silver Lake, out of Manitowac, WI, hitting only 30% . Half time saw the Ladies trailing by 5, 34 - 29. In second half the Tigers came out with much more energy and quickly pulled even with the Lakers. The game never saw more than a 5 point difference in the second half. The Tigers trailing by a point late in the game had several chances but a turn over and miscue on the free throw line took the opportunity away. The Ladies lost 71 - 68. Full Article >

    Tigers Win Big In Season Opener

    The Tigers opened the season on a positive note Friday night as they defeated the Crossroad Knights (Minneapolis Minnesota) 97 to 13. The Ladies started the first half hitting most of their shots, hitting a blistering 60.5%. At half time the Tigers went in the locker room with a 60 to 4 lead. The Tigers held a 61 to 24 rebounding advantage with Emily Koerner (Berkley) leading the way with 18 boards followed closely by Anna Iwaniw (Kent City) with 16. Full Article >

    Lady Tigers Look Good In Scrimmage

    The Tigers had to play with only 6 players in their scrimmage with Trinity Christian, out of Chicago, Saturday morning. With the larger Trinity Christian squad, it looked like the Ladies from Grace would be in for a long morning. The Tigers started out a little slow but just got better and better. With Molly Holtrop (Cedar Springs) leading the way, theTigers were able to out run there opponents and get many wide open shots. Full Article >

    Tigers Defeat Talented Alumni Team

    The Lady Tigers, with only 7 players, were able to face live action against a very talented alumni team. Playing for the alumni were, Val Poppema, Abigail Phillips, Meagan Beckwith, Jodi Kline, Carrie Kulumbla and Sydney Wildeboer. Full Article >
