    Tigers overcome slow start, pick up narrow victory over NAIA UM-Dearborn

    The Tigers picked up a tough road victory over the UM-Dearborn Wolverines Tuesday night, 76-73. Junior Rod Altidor led the team with 15 points on 7 of 11 shooting, followed by senior Cameron Cramer with 12. Cramer also led the team in both rebounds and assists, with 10 and 6, respectively.     JV Squad falls to Cornerstone in Overtime thriller

    The Cornerstone University JV squad traveled across town to meet with the Grace Bible College JV, as the Tigers held their home opener Monday night. The Tigers were coming off of two tough losses on the road to Davenport University and Muskegon Community College to start their season. The first half saw plenty of offense from both sides, with the two teams combining for 92 points in the first 20 minutes. Sophomore Kenny Vernon and freshman Caleb Yeary combined for 30 points in the first half, contributing heavily to a 47-45 Tiger advantage at the break. Full Article >

    Tigers Lose Tight Game With Silver Lake

    The Tigers were cold from the floor in the first half of their game with Silver Lake, out of Manitowac, WI, hitting only 30% . Half time saw the Ladies trailing by 5, 34 - 29. In second half the Tigers came out with much more energy and quickly pulled even with the Lakers. The game never saw more than a 5 point difference in the second half. The Tigers trailing by a point late in the game had several chances but a turn over and miscue on the free throw line took the opportunity away. The Ladies lost 71 - 68. Full Article >
