Tigers Lose Great Game To Maranatha
    18-Jan-2016

The Lady Tigers traveled to Maranatha Baptist University for the second time this season but the outcome was not the same. In December the Tigers defeated Maranatha by 16 but not this time. The game was a hard fought from start to finish with many lead changes. Maranatha lead at the end of the first quarter 14 - 11 and 26 - 24 at the half. The Tigers pulled even at the end of the third quarter by out scoring Maranatha 20 - 18.

The poor shooting of the Tigers turned out to be the difference. Maranatha shot 41% from the floor while the Tigers shot only 33%.

The Tigers had 4 players in double figures, Abby Schultz 17, Anna Iwaniw 11 and Jewel Ro and McKenzie McCord both with 10.

Amy Leszinske had 7 rebounds followed by Jewel Ro with 5.

The Tigers take on Illinois Tech Tuesday night at 6:00 in the Aldrich Center. Full Article >
