    Men's JV squad puts together pristine second half, defeats Northwood JV

    Northwood University’s JV squad visited the Aldrich Athletic Center Saturday afternoon, for the first of a home-and-away series this year between the Timberwolves and the Tigers. Northwood University is an NCAA DII school, so the Tigers were going to need to bring their best to come out on the winning end. Full Article >

    Head Coach Gary Bailey weighed in on the win – “We need to work on playing mistake free basketball. It’s good to get a win like this on the road against a good team, but we still are making some bad mistakes with the ball and some assignment errors on defense. Besides the win, when in close games it is always good for your team to learn that process. We stayed calm and continued to make the right decisions when the pressure was on.     Grace falls to Grace (Indiana), will face Clarke University in consolation game today

    Hannah Wight Leads Tigers to 4th Win of the Young Season

    Hannah had her best game of the season in a 57 to 33 win over Faith Baptist College, said Coach Renzema. It was a good thing she did as the Tigers as a team shot a dismal 27% and got out rebounded 23 - 16 in the first half. The second half saw a very different team. The ladies shot 47% and out rebounded Faith 23 to 11 to give the Tigers the win. Full Article >

It was a good thing she did because the Tigers shot only 27% as a team in the first half and got out rebounded 23 - 16. The second half saw a completely different half as the Ladies improved their shooting 47% and out rebounded the much taller Faith team 23 to 11. The final score was 57 - 33. Full Article >
