    Grace Defeats Boyce College, Coach Bailey Earns 200th WIn

    Grand Rapids, MI – The NCCAA II #3 Grace Bible College Tigers returned to Aldrich Athletic Center for the first time since November 12 Friday night, to face the Bulldogs of Boyce College (KY). The first half saw the Tigers keep a short lead for the bulk of the 20 minutes, but eventually the Bulldogs’ hot shooting resulted in the score knotted up at 50-50 at the half.     Grace Returns to the Home Court Tonight

    For the first time in over two months, the Grace Tigers men’s basketball team will return to the Aldrich Athletic Center tonight to take on the Boyce College Bulldogs (Louisville, KY).     Grace Downs Multnomah, Falls to West Coast Baptist College (Road Trip Update)

    The Tigers were able to take down the high-powered offense of Multnomah University Friday night by a score of 96-85. West Coast Baptist College's shooting proved to be too much for Grace, as a second half run for the Eagles resulted in a 97-82 loss for the Tigers. Full Article >

    Grace Bench Sparks Win in First Game of Road Trip

    January 9, 2014, Portland, Oregon – After having their flight canceled on Wednesday, the Tigers left Grace at 6:15 am Thursday morning, caught a bus at Gerald R. Ford airport in Grand Rapids at 7 am, and made a three and a half hour bus ride to O’Hare airport in Chicago. They ate a quick lunch and then spent about five hours on a plane to Portland, arriving about three hours before the tip-off with Portland Bible College. Full Article >

    After a cancelled flight yesterday and a lot of adjusting to be able to make it to Portland, Oregon this afternoon hours before game time, the Tigers will take on Portland Bible College tonight at 7:00 PM PST (10:00 PM EST).     Grace Pulls Off Thriller in the Sunshine State

    In their first overtime battle of the year, Grace was able to defeat Florida National University this Saturday, by a score of 92-90. Junior Cameron Cramer led the Tigers with a career-high 29 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Full Article >

    Tigers Show Grit Despite Exhibition Loss to Western Illinois University, 77-43

    Coming off back to back wins on Thursday and Friday against NCCAA regional opponents Northland International University and Moody Bible Institute, the Tigers hopped on a bus early Saturday morning and drove seven hours to NCAA D1 Western Illinois University to face a challenge on a whole different level in an exhibition game against the Fighting Leathernecks.     Tigers Defeat #5 Northland International University, 81-73

    In a game that was close throughout until the final minutes, the Tigers put together 40 minutes of solid play and came away with an important 81-73 win against the #5 nationally ranked Pioneers of Northland International University Thursday evening in the opening round of the NCCAA Midwest Region Tipoff Tournament. The win should move Grace up in the national rankings but more importantly it was rewarding to the coaches and players who have worked hard over the last week to improve areas of weakness.     Tigers Handle Moody, 76-60, Move to 3-0 in Midwest Region

    The Tigers met Moody Bible Institute Friday night in the second round of the Midwest Region Tip Off Tournament, and came away with a decisive 76-60 victory. Coach Gary Bailey played all 12 Tigers that dressed a minimum of seven and a half minutes, with eleven of them playing double digit minutes. “It was a solid win for us,” said Bailey. “We have a long road trip tomorrow to play NCAA D1 Western Illinois University so it was important that our bench be able to give us some good minutes tonight, and they did.” Full Article >
